The speciality of our Ski Hire is our Nordic Skiing Cross Country Ski Hire facility, believed to be one of very few in the UK.........It is a personal love of mine.

We are right in the centre of the Cairngorms National Park, at the heart of Glenmore Forest which is arguably one of the best Cross Country/Nordic Ski areas in Scotland. Another great place to xc ski is Clashindarroch Forest near Huntly. You can take our skis there also. Yes.....As we all know the snow in the forest comes and goes. However in December 2009, Jan, Feb, March and the first days of April 2010, we had snow, masses of snow and continuous XC skiing for three and a half months! New XC Skis at end of Jan 2010 We are ready to hire at a second's notice.

NEW! New development for Winter 2010/2011. We have an agreement in principle from the Forestry Commission to operate a xc track cutting machine in Glenmore Forest for the use of all xc skiers.

This will be free of charge to all xc skiers, whether you have hired from us or not. However xc skiers will be able to make a voluntary contribution to help to cover operating costs of the machine.
